American Express Business Travel Achieves China Growth

American Express Business Travel reported year-on-year sales growth in excess of 20% in most key markets, including China.
Figures reveal that sales in China have increased up to 41% year to date over last year. This reflects the demand and growth in key markets lead by China and India.
Libby Roy, General Manager and Vice President for American Express Global Business Travel, Japan, Asia Pacific and Australia commented, ¡°The greater use of more sophisticated corporate travel tools has had a significant impact on the bottom line of both MNCs and local companies. Moreover, it signals the growing maturity of these markets as travel management is being seen and used as a business tool offering a competitive advantage, not just a cost cutting opportunity."
American Express recently launched two key offers designed to focus specifically on traveler security and expense control: Security Suite and Benchmarking Analysis.
