Forum della Comunicazione, Spazio

Italian Communication World met in Rome
The first ¡®Forum della Comunicazione¡¯
took place in Rome last May 2008. EGA Professional Congress
Organisers was one of the main technical sponsors and they
worked as Organising Secretariat for the event. The first
edition of this meeting had the big aim to gather in Rome
, for the first time, all the Communication players coming
from: companies, public institutions, universities and associations.
And it resulted to be a success (www.forumcomunicazione.it).
Rome, 20th June 2008. More than 2000
participants and 130 journalists attended the meeting, where
several round tables followed one another. The editing Company,
Comunicazione Italiana, that did promote the event with
EGA, wanted to create a place where people could meet and
share opinions, different points of view and their professional
experiences. The Forum was under the auspices of the Regional
and local public institutions.
The two-day show was opened by the speeches
of Fabrizio Cataldi, Managing Director of Comunicazione
Italiana, and of Umberto Croppi, the new Head of the Roman
Authority for Cultural Policies.
EGA¡¯s partners have always believed in
the importance of the Communication activities in business,
no matter the market you work in. Their early affiliation
to FERPI (the main Italian association of Public Relations
professionals) started more than 20 years ago and it represents
a clear evidence of their point of view. Moreover, as PCO,
¡°we have realised that congresses and events in general
have become really important for communication activities¡±,
Emma Aru, president of EGA, commented at the end of the
Forum. ¡°Nowadays events play a main role in building a positive
and strong company image and they permit also to generate
several occasions for strategic and 1to1 extra marketing
actions for all the partners of the event¡±, Aru added.
That is why EGA decided to join
Comunicazione Italiana in this new ¡®adventure¡¯, with the
target to make it an annual appointment in the Italian Capital.
