SriLankan Airlines and Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau Together Promote a New Traveling Product for Golden Jubilee of China-Sri Lanka relations

In order to celebrate 50 years of close relations between China and Sri Lanka, governments and Tour Circles of China and Sri Lanka promote a series of activities for mutual communication. Since publicity of preferential traveling products together promoted by SriLankan Airlines and Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau, SriLankan Airlines has kept on promoting new packages which are more favorable and more considerate.
The new package costs from only CNY 5,100, which includes round-trip ticket including tax, whole-trip transportation, English-speaking tour guide, hotel and meals. The new package consists of two routes: 3 nights, 5 days and 4 nights, 6 days, so that travelers can spend a quite impressive trip within shortest time, such as pay a thorough visit on Sri Lanka, one of the most beautiful island on the Indian Ocean, worship Buddhist culture, get in touch with wild animals, indulge in the charming beach, enjoy luxurious hotels, appreciate black tea and gems. The most characteristic scenic spots have been selected including capital city Colombo, mountain city Kandy, Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage (also southern beach spot). The package endeavor to let Chinese travelers experience the most native and diversified trip integrating Buddhist culture, beach enjoyment, city sightseeing and wild nature. These new routes are semi-DIY trip because of the suitability of DIY trip. On condition that there are at least two travelers going trip, whole-trip independent air-condition-equipped bus and English-speaking tour guide are available, moreover, travelers can ask for Chinese-speaking tour guide if necessary.
As soon as the presenting of this activity, travelers can purchase super-valued products through traveling agencies. The new package provides with different class hotels (3~5 Stars) with reasonable price for travelers to choose, to meet different need of travelers.

Meanwhile, more than 21 tour operators in Sri Lanka are partnering Sri Lankan Airlines for these offers, providing with comfortable services for travelers.
Chanaka Olagam, Manager of SriLankan Airlines China Agency said: “Sri Lanka is delighted to support our President’s vision of even closer relations between our two countries. We have joined hands with Sri Lanka Tourism and the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators to provide this once in a lifetime offer to travelers in China. SriLankan Airlines launched its Beijing service in June 2005, and we will soon be entering into discussions with authorities in China to expand our services to other cities and to increase our frequencies to existing destinations.
A growing number of Chinese leisure travelers are heading for Sri Lanka’s many attractions, from its ancient Buddhist cultural sites and historic 2,000-year-old cities, to its enchanting misty mountains, and palm-fringed golden beaches.
