Korean Air Increases Network With New Las Vegas Flights
11/10/2006
Korean Air is strengthening its North American network with the new addition of Las Vegas as its thirteenth North American gateway. Korean Air flies from more cities in North America to more destinations in Asia than any other airline in the world.
"The addition of Las Vegas into our network benefits customers
in the western US, especially those in Phoenix, Salt Lake
City and Denver who now can conveniently leave for Asia from
Las Vegas instead of one of our west coast gateways," says
Korean Air's marketing director, John Jackson.
There will be three weekly flights out of Las Vegas on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays on a 301-seat Boeing 777-200 departing at 12:50 a.m. and arriving in Seoul/Incheon at 6:05 a.m. the following day. The airline has quick connections to dozens of popular and important cities in Asia including 17 in China.
All passengers will have high speed Internet access from Connexion by Boeing. Korean Air's inflight service earned a top three ranking in almost every airline category in the 2005 TIME Asia Readers' Travel Choice Awards. The carrier is also a two-time winner of the prestigious Mercury Award for catering and has been awarded best new menu launch and most outstanding food service by Pax International Magazine.
Korean Air, with a fleet of 118 aircraft, is one of the world's top 20 airlines. It operates almost 400 passenger flights per day to 91 cities in 31 countries.
