China Airlines to Increase Flights to Delhi

In response to strong market demand and the expansion of traffic rights between Taiwan and India, China Airlines is to increase its frequencies on the Taipei-Delhi route, beginning 30 October 2006.
On that date, two weekly flights will be added to CAL's Taipei-Delhi route, for a new total of five weekly flights. Flight CI 181 will depart every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 21:45 from Taipei, and arrive in Delhi at 02:30 the next day. Return flight CI 182 will leave every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 03:45 and arrive in Taipei at 11:50.
India is one of the fastest growing emerging markets in the world, and southern India's Bangalore is considered to be the Silicon Valley of India. All major international airports in India have experienced double-digit annual growth in the past few years, and airlines from Asia, Europe and the U.S. are all increasing their flights in response to the market opportunities.
