HSMAI seeks judges for annual Adrian Awards

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) calls for seasoned advertising and marketing experts to serve as judges in its annual travel and hospitality marketing competition ¨C the Adrian Awards. With the process transitioned to an online entry and judging format two years ago, participants can judge entries at their leisure from anywhere in the world.
¡°We are looking for top caliber agency executives who have a keen sense of creativity and innovation, who can appreciate work that really stands out and makes a difference, and understand that results are an integral part of the recognition process,¡± states Melanie Penoyar, CAE, director of development and awards competition for HSMAI.
The Adrian Awards are given in three categories: advertising, public relations and web marketing. Each entry is judged on its own merit and success in achieving its objectives as outlined in its accompanying statement of communication. In addition, entries are evaluated in five equally weighted categories: marketing objectives, creativity, quality, content and results.
Judges will have the opportunity to review entries in their specific area of expertise. Multiple judges score each entry. Points are then added cumulatively and an average score is determined. All tabulation is done by officials of HSMAI, and final scores are not revealed to judges. Judging for gold, silver and bronze awards is completed online.
