IACC established a new chapter in Europe

The International Association of Conference Centers has established a new chapter in Europe. IACC of the Netherlands is made up of seven properties in the Netherlands and one in Belgium. In other news, at the organization's recent global board meeting, new officers were elected for the term that runs from Jan. 1, 2007, to Dec. 31, 2008. Peter Stewart of the MGSM Executive Hotel & Conference Centre in New South Wales, Australia, was named president; Steen Broby-Rahr of Nordea Conference Centre Klarskovgaard in Denmark will be vice president, and Tom Cappucci of University Place at IUPUI in Indianapolis was named secretary-treasurer.
