ACTA and CzechTourism under close cooperation

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) in cooperation with CzechTourism Canada, CzechTourism Prague, CSA Czech Airlines and MADI Travel Market hosted a beginner and advanced program that accommodated 22 retail and wholesale professionals along with 3 trade media representatives.
The week-long beginner program took the participants through the capital city of Prague and onto South Bohemia with stops in the historical cities of Tabor, Ceske Budejovice, Trebon and Cesky Krumlov. The participants to the advanced longer program were treated to the incredible sights of the Moravian Highlands & Southern Moravia Region and also North Bohemia Region with an adventure in the Czech Mountains. The participants also took part in the two-day MADI Travel Market and Trade Show.
“We recognized that the addition of the MADI Travel Market enhanced the educational element in the programs and therefore marked it an Edutour” stated Heather Craig-Peddie, ACTA Ontario regional manager who also accompanied the beginner group.

This was a wonderful opportunity for ACTA to work with CzechTourism Canada and promote this value-added program to the industry. We will definitely consider worthwhile Edutours such as this one in the future”, concluded Christiane Theberge, Vice-President Public Affairs for ACTA.
