Princess Cruises is offering a relaxed and hassle-free way to travel between the United States and Australia - new month-long island-hopping voyages across the Pacific

Three 'Grand Pacific' cruises between the US West Coast and Sydney are available aboard the superliners Sun Princess and Regal Princess in August and September, 2007, and April, 2008.
Pampered passengers aboard the two ships will slow down to 'island time' as their exotic itineraries take them to postcard Pacific paradises in Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, Cook Islands, American Samoa, Kiribati and New Zealand.
The three cruises are positional voyages for Regal Princess and Sun Princess which will cruise from Australia from October 2007 and November 2007 respectively as the biggest liners ever based here for Australians.
Boasting 410 affordable balcony cabins and accommodating 2022 passengers, the 77,000-ton Sun Princess will be based in Sydney from November 2007 to April 2008, offering premium level cruises for discerning Australians keen to sail the South Pacific in style.
Meanwhile, the 70,000-ton Regal Princess - with 2050 passengers and 184 balcony cabins - will be transformed into Pacific Dawn for sister line P&O Cruises from October 2007. She will become the biggest liner ever based in Australia year-round, with cruises tailored for all ages from Sydney to the South Pacific.
The three trans-Pacific voyages on sale are:
¡¤30-night voyage on Sun Princess departing Seattle September 23, 2007, for 11?destinations - Hilo and Maui in Hawaii, Bora Bora and Papeete in Tahiti, Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, Pago Pago in American Samoa, Suva in Fiji and also Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Fjordland in New Zealand. Fares are available from A$5649 per person.
¡¤31-night return voyage aboard Sun Princess from Sydney on April 7, 2008, bound to San Francisco via 14 ports - the NZ destinations of Fjordland, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, Suva in Fiji, Pago Pago in American Samoa, Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, the Tahitian ports of Moorea, Papeete and Bora Bora, Christmas Island in Kiribati and Maui and Honolulu in Hawaii. Fares are available from A$5869 per person.
¡¤31-night cruise on Regal Princess departing Los Angeles on August 31, 2007, sailing for 14 destinations -?Maui and Honolulu in Hawaii, Christmas Island in Kiribati, Bora Bora, Moorea and Papeete in Tahiti, Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, Pago Pago in American Samoa, Suva in Fiji and Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Fjordland in New Zealand.
