Minimum Price Published For Trips To Hong Kong

The Guangzhou Travel Agencies Association and Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong have signed the "Guangzhou - Hong Kong Credibility Travel Cooperation Memo" and published the minimum price for one-day trips to Hong Kong.
The new price published for Guangdong citizens who take a one-day trip to Hong Kong is RMB98. It will be implemented from September 1.
Also, 24 members of GTAA and other four travel agencies have signed a memo on outbound trips and they have agreed to jointly carry out the new minimum price for Hong Kong trips.
Li Zhixin, deputy director general of the Guangzhou Municipal Tourism Bureau, explained that the lowest price will be a warning for consumers as it tells them that prices lower than this one may involve fraud.
The RMB98 includes transfer fee (RMB40-50), lunch (RMB23) and bus rental (RMB35-50) in Hong Kong.
