NEWLY LAUNCHED BOOK ON ASIA ・S LUXURY PASSION SELLS OUT IN TWO MONTHS

The Cult of the Luxury Brand: Inside Asia ・s Love Affair with Luxury has proved such a worldwide success that, two months after its release, the book will be reprinted.
The book has reached number four on amazon.com・s bestselling .new and future releases list for consumerism・, even before the launch of the book in the USA , slated for 9 Jan 2007. In Hong Kong the book reached number seven in the Dymocks pre-Christmas bestseller list. In Thailand too, the book featured among the top ten bestsellers at Asia Books.
In the US the book has virtually sold-out as customers rushed to pre-order copies. The book・s publisher, Nicholas Brealey Publishing, is reprinting copies to fulfill demand.
The publisher has also announced that they have distributed all the copies in the UK and are now reprinting there too.
The Hong Kong based authors are thrilled and surprised at the early success of the book. Radha Chadha said: :The reaction to the book・s publication just shows how big the luxury brand phenomenon in Asia is. Asian consumers account for half of the US$80 billion global luxe industry, and clearly there is value in having an insight into this market.;
