Grand Opening of Swiss-Belhotel Papua

HONG KONG – Swiss-Belhotel International, the manager of hotels, resorts and serviced resi-dences in Asia, is pleased to announce that Swiss-Belhotel Papua, managed by Swiss-Belhotel International holds its Grand Opening Ceremony on Sunday, March 11th, 2007. The hotel marks its official opening by with a Grand Opening celebration in the presence of the Governor of Papua Mr. Barnabas Suebu, SH at the Hotel’s Cendrawasih Ballroom.
The event was attended by the Directors of PT. Hotel Papua International, as the owner and investor, the management team of Swiss-Belhotel International, as the hotel operator, Government Officials from the Province of Papua, Local Non Government Officials, Social and Religious Leaders of Jayapura, Corporate Clients, and the hotel’s management and staff among many other invitees.
“We are very pleased to open and operate Swiss-Belhotel Papua as the first international-standard hotel in Jayapura. During the soft opening period (December 2006 - February 2007. Regular guests are Goverment Officials and Corporate guests, said Vice President Operations and Development Swiss-Belhotel International, Indonesia, Emmanuel Guillard. Swiss-Belhotel Papua is the first international-standard hotel in Jayapura.
The hotel, which has capacity of 96 rooms, is strategically located on Jl. Pasifik Permai, Jayapura, Papua, in the centre of the city’s business and commercial district and has dazzling views of cityscape and the Jotefa bay. It is located approximately 45-minutes drive to Sentani Airport. The hotel guest rooms include Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Executive Suite and Presidential Suite. The hotel’s facilities include the Cendrawasih Ballroom with state-of-the-art banquet equipments and can accommodate up to 500 persons, two meeting rooms – Baliem & Sentani, The Matoa Lounge Bar, Cartenz Swiss Café, 24-hours in-room dining service, 24-hours Security, Business Center with internet facility, airport transfer service, swimming pool and fitness centre. The guest room facilities include individual-controlled air conditioning system, IDD telephone line, television with cable programme, and mini bar.
Swiss-Belhotel International manages hotels in CHINA, VIETNAM, PHILIPPINES, INDONESIA and has recently opened a development office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
