CIBTM wins “the most creative event” at the 2007 China Business and incentive travel creative Awards
As the first travel exhibition in China to support the Meetings and Incentive Industry, CIBTM (China International Business & Incentive Travel Exhibition) has won the award for “the most creative event” as a result of its “high quality” Hosted Buyer Programme. The CIBTM Hosted Buyer Programme was implemented as early as 2005 and with the evolution of the matching and appointment systems CIBTM 2007 hosted 262 top buyers from around the world and China. By successfully hosting buyers with a real purchasing power from associations, corporations and agencies, the show was able to gain recognition and acceptance throughout the industry.
On receiving the award, the Vice president of Reed Exhibitions China, Gary Liu commented: “This award is in recognition of the efforts we’ve been putting into CIBTM since its launch. Postponed in 2008 due to the impact of the Olympic Games on Beijing, CIBTM will take place again in from 8-10 September at Beijing’s new state of the art China National Convention Centre (CNCC). Our teams in London and Beijing are continuing to create new ideas so that CIBTM delivers the most efficient business platform for the sellers and buyers of meeting and incentive travel services.”
The China Business and incentive travel creative awards were jointly organized with the Society of Incentive Travel Executives - Beijing Chapter - who helped create the event to recognize the talents and creative projects within China’s Meetings and Incentive industry.
