Resorts World at Sentosa Brings
Fun to Incentives & Events at AIME
In its second appearance
at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME),
Resorts World at Sentosa 每 Asia*s largest and fully-integrated
family resort destination 每 is set to woo the meetings and
incentives world by unveiling 每 for the first time 每 full
details of its unmatched venues and incentive options, with
packages and deals ready to be sealed.
At the upcoming AIME, Resorts World at Sentosa will meet
with destination management companies (DMCs) and event planners
to continue generating awareness of its impressive stable
of 22 meetings rooms, plenary halls as well as 20 outdoor
and indoor incentive venues, which include one of the largest
column-free ballrooms in Asia 每 with the ability to seat
some 7,300 delegates.
Another key offering is the possibility of holding incentive
events at Southeast Asia*s first Universal Studios theme
park, followed by a theme dinner along Hollywood Boulevard,
or even a product launch at the Waterworld Stunt Show amphitheatre,
complete with fire, lights, pyrotechnics, stunt men and
special effects.
Resorts World at Sentosa is also ready to take briefs from
organisers in helping them tailor a MICE programme to suit
their needs and budgets.
Already, the Resort 每 which has a stand within the Singapore
booth 每 has packed a full schedule of back-to-back meetings
with some of the biggest names in the regional MICE industry.
Many are keen to earn boasting rights of being the first
to hold events at Singapore*s mega family destination.
※What we are pitching is not mere meeting rooms, business
centres and wireless connections. They will definitely be
available without fail,§ said Mr Richard Teo, Assistant
Director for Resort Sales, Resorts World at Sentosa.
§What RWS offers event organizers are unusual venues with
one-of-a-kind events and experiences, a proposition that
will let them throw business events that their clients,
colleagues and partners will remember and talk about for
a long time 每 and which their competitors loathe them for,**
Mr Teo added.
Besides Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World at Sentosa
also boasts another anchor attraction 每 the world*s largest
oceanarium, which would allow participants to swim with
whale-sharks, interact with dolphins and feed tiger sharks.
Resorts World at Sentosa is being developed at a cost of
S$6 billion by Genting International, which won the high-profile
bid in December 2006 to build the country*s first family
integrated resort on Singapore*s resort island of Sentosa.
The 49-hectare mega-resort is looking to welcome 15 million
visitors in its first year of operations when it opens its
doors in early 2010.
