Experience the Topical Spring Festival at Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa

On the Chinese New Year’s Eve, February 6, 2008, a splendid fireworks displayed on the beach of the Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa at 00:00 a.m. Over 600 guests participated in the count down and enchanted by the fantastic fireworks show. The hotel Chinese master chef prepared traditional dumplings with different flavors for every guest to compliment with, as well as Hainan local coconut wine served while people celebrating the exciting moment.
February 7, 2008, at 10:58 a.m. on the first day of Year of the Rat, Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa presented a traditional Lion & Dragon Dance combined with Chinese Kongfu Show in front of the lobby. The whole ceremony brightened up along with the presence of the “Money God” in the end, and specially prepared “red packet” distributed to every guest. By organizing such a grand Chinese New Year celebration, the hotel wishes to bring in good luck to everyone in the year of the Rat.
