Serbrock Named Kempinski Hotel Suzhou General Manager

Kempinski Hotel Suzhou has appointed John W. Serbrock as its General Manager. A native of The Netherlands, Serbrock will be responsible for selecting and managing the executive and key operating staff for the new Kempinski property that is still under construction.
He has held several increasingly responsible senior marketing and general management positions in the hotel industry. His career has included assignments with Marriott, Conrad, and Intercontinental. His recent experiences with Kempinski include Regional Vice President Sales & Marketing for the Asia Pacific region while at the same time having direct sales and marketing responsibility for the group’s flag ship Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. Prior to taking on the Suzhou GM tasks he was General Manager for Kempinski at the iconic Forty One Hengshan Road Residences in Shanghai.
