New Banquet and Conference Facilities on Level Six -Hotel Ciputra Jakarta

Hotel Ciputra Jakarta has recently two ballrooms and six meeting rooms which are located on hotel level six. The ballrooms which named with Dian and Victory as well as Glory 1 – 6 meeting rooms, combining with elegant furnishing and excellent facilities are specifically designed to fulfill the demand of function facilities requirements for any business purposes, wedding parties and social events. These ballrooms were previously an oriental restaurant and karaoke rooms, managed by an independent operator. The refurbishment has totally changed the floor into one the pride of Hotel Ciputra Jakarta ballroom, the biggest and pillarless Dian Ballroom with unique design.
Darren Earle, the hotel’s General Manager, stated that the level six has been converted into a designated function and meeting facility. It complements the already existing, popular function facilities within the hotel. “There is a large demand for function space in Jakarta with clients often being disappointed that meeting rooms are not available. Opening this space to meeting facilities makes sense”, he added.
Entering Dian Ballroom, you will encounter modern contemporary décor. The biggest and pillarless ballroom, with 1, 085-square meter area and 9-meter ceiling height, Dian Ballroom has a unique shape of ceiling which will not be seen elsewhere. With its uniqueness, the Dian Ballroom will be the ideal venue for wedding parties, gala dinners, product launching or other corporate events. It can accommodate up to 1, 800 persons for standing reception and 1, 000 persons theater-style. The room can be divided into two with wall-to-ceiling soundproof partitions.
Victory Ballroom is a function room with a modern décor. With floor space of 877 square meters and ceiling height of 4 meters, this ballroom is suitable for smaller guest lists. It can accommodate up to 850 persons for standing reception and 450 persons for theater-style set-up. The ballroom can be partitioned into three rooms, making it most suitable for conferences and meetings, thus enabling break-out rooms and workshop areas.
Also on level six, complementing both the Dian and Victory Ballroom are six multipurpose function rooms of various sizes and configurations. Named Glory 1 – 6, these smaller rooms are ideally located and similarly perfect for break-out rooms or for smaller individual corporate meetings or training requirements.
All of the rooms available on level six have access to the latest technology in audio-visual needs, sound requirements, internet connections and communications with teleconferencing facilities available.
Access to the new floor could not be easier with access from the hotel’s lobby as well as from Mal Ciputra. Car parking space is directly accessible from level 5 of the enclosed Mal Ciputra’s car park. For guest convenience, valet car parking service is also available.
The estimated cost of this new floor is about twenty billion rupiahs with interior design and planning being commissioned by Grahacipta Hadiprana Architects of Jakarta.
Hotel Ciputra Jakarta is experiencing an exiting time at present and guests and visitors will certainly notice some changes should they have not visited recently. Refurbishment has also commenced in the hotel’s lobby and is nearing completion. The area has been expanded to accommodate a bar and area for live music, the reception area, public restrooms, executive offices, business center, and new fitness center and spa on level 7. New floor of accommodation rooms level 8 and new cabana rooms are all scheduled to be renovated by the end of 2006 and continue with all rooms which will be periodically renovated and completed in the early of 2007.
